  1. Yesterday from Roger:

    Dear Peter

If he gets in Saturday afternoon he will arrive in the middle of our harbour racing and there will be no room alongside. He should go straight to the mooring – G7 – between Moonblue and Brizo.

I shall ask the marine staff to check the mooring lines for G7 today to ensure that the mooring is “ready to go”.

It is high water at 10:30 PM (2.4m) on Saturday – low water is 04:00 on Sunday morning – at 0.4. Plerase be advised that the deepes water on entry will be close to the wooden pontoon.

He should also be aware that there is a dredger and barge in operation just to the south of the travel hoist – and that he should take care to observe the anchor wires for the barge – the barge anchors are marked with yellow buoys.

If he gets in late Saturday or early hours of Sunday then he can TRY to find a slot on the pontoon – but I am afraid we cannot guarantee a slot.

Joanne – please can you ask the coxswains to check the lines on G7.

    Best regards
