In Race One Day One, they creamed the opposition by over half an hour on the water, and got 1st corrected in PHRF inshore, 4th corrected on General Handicap.
Well done to Grunter, Splash and crew!

UPDATE (26 Jan): Grant, Iris and crew on Cadillac finished the race week of three Islands courses with three Line Honours, First in PHRF and Fourth corrected in General Handicap. Great job guys! Series results here.

Yes we are dusting them on the water ...dear "Cadillac" she can still punch well above her weight
I think I've mentioned before She has won a lot in the past so now days usually handicapped out of it
Team have been sailing well and "Cadillac " continues to do Her bit as well
Also we are enjoying perfect sailing 15knts yesterday 13knts today blue sky sunny 24dc
We will struggle tomorrow as 2 of our best crew have gone down the coast to bring "bare Esssentials " the 56ft Robinson up the coast so we can use her for the Bay of Island to Whangaroa coastal race Saturday morning...we won it last year so high expectations.....often better to be the under dog so we will see...however will be trying hard
Thirty knts forecast so it will no doubt be exciting
All the usual suspects are here Bicky, Josh ( no G ) etc etc so the drinks tent with live band is humming after racing each day
