Revellers "invade" the stage (iPhone)
For the prize giving we were asked to be in the ballroom 45 minutes before time and then given a little lecture on the protocol on how to approach the "King's Personal Representative", who was representing the King (the clue's in the name). This lecture included a little pantomime from the MC on how women should do their hands gesture -- the Thai signal for welcome and thank you -- and one for men, complete with three bows and leaving without showing your back to the KPR.

(Seeing that "KPR" three-letter acronym just now reminds me that our "Digger" (Heindrich) has a baseball cap with "MSB" on it. I asked him and he tells me it means the three things a man (or woman?), can't have too much of: Money, Sex and Boatspeed).
Then on outside to the party. Or, should I say THE PARTY. It was the best yet, and that's saying something, as they've all been fantastic. Fabulous American blues and soul singer, then the band, five piece and talented, kept us rockin' till we dropped, they were so amped up, man.

Revellers come in all shapes and sizes, and in all ages. And in all three sexes, including Thailand's boy-girls who've caught out more than one unsuspecting Dundee. There was ample eye candy for the boys, and plenty of hunky-dory for the women. We could all appreciate the fine art.
And so.... it wasn't too hard of a decision for us all to say -- we'll be back next Year, Phuket, for the 25th Anniversary of the Cup!
