She was hull number 25, delivered to us in Hong Kong in 2008.
She was named after the famous television series “Xena: Warrior Princess”, starring the wonderful statuesque Lucy Lawless of New Zealand. It was a favourite of my son and mine.
After 10 years of successful racing and cruising around Asia, we sold her in 2018. She is now in Thailand, we believe.
I built a small wooden boat in our backyard, in 2012: "Building a Somes Sound Wooden Boat in Hong Kong". This boat we named "Gabrielle", the side-kick on Xena in the TV series.
I'm posting this just for the record and because I love that photo above. It was taken by the professional camera-team boat as we were coming up to the top mark. Great sailing in Koh Samui.
