A day at the club.... A classic on the water

PF, at helm of Rona, enjoying the winter sunshine on the harbour.
Gaggle of boats at the Club: Xena in background with blue spinnaker drying.
Behind her a barge for the work of digging a tunnel right under the Club.

Rona, a ketch designed by Vandistad, built in the UK in 1895.
She's owned by the head of Goldman Sachs in HK, based in Sai Kung.
She was at the club having her main mast repaired.

Gilvin, Rona's manager, at the helm.

Simon Pickering, the Club's Boatyard Manager, at the helm,
Gilvin and his brother in background.

PF at the helm, working way up the harbour in a gentle breeze.

Noel, Xena's boat manager, helps Rona reverse in under Gilvin's expert guidance.
It was busy-busy on Xena, as Noel works on the "To Do" list after the delivery
back from Phuket. They arrived back last Wednesday, 11th Jan.

And so to bed.  Lovely arvo...
