I just want to convey a very sincere thanks to you all for the huge contributions everyone made to what turned out to be a very enjoyable regatta. The drama of actually getting on to the race course was of an ilk not experienced before, but particular thanks to the delivery guys, David for managing to get the mechanic down from Pattaya, and George for putting us in touch with various people who were able to locate a replacement injector pump – not an easy ask by any means! Definitely a difficult situation, but at least we did manage to do most of what we set out to do. Also some challenging conditions on the race course, not something we have seen before at these regattas.
Also, particular thanks to Pixie and Judy who organized crew accommodation, wine, and the “Lost and Found” bar. Not to mention crew dinner and hosts of other details.
Definitely thinking that we should target some strong young bucks to join us for the next occasion to take a bit of load off the senior citizens that we are all becoming. Thinking maybe of granny bars at the back around the liferaft box……..
Hope everyone managed to get home safely. And hope the muscles are settling back into normal shape.
    Cheers for now,
    Peter.(C)
