They're all provisioned, diesel total 1,240 litres, the engine alternator voltage regulator is fixed, the new starboard electric winch is installed, AIS working, radar removed, racing sails on, new racing jib sheets aboard, new headboard car installed... all in all, they're ready for the trip to Koh Samui (about 1,300 NM) and are leaving on the tide tonight Hong Kong time.
And... the laptop's working and the tracker too.  You can email Xena at sea: here. (NO attachments, please)
Follow them on the tracker: see above tab "Track Xena".  It's fine, easy and they don't spam you!

  2. [Above email was 12th May. This one is 13th May, from the on-board SatCom email]:

Thanks for the email Peter and getting more insulation rubber.
Generally had more wind than forcast. 15knt last night and backed us so able to sail....nice.
Had to go around large fishing fleet netting last night. Electric compass decided to malfunction so steering with manual compass.........good practise for all.
Have it up and running again now, suspect moisture ? . Have impressed on Noel again while onboard run instruments 28/7.........keep hot seems to help. When I arrived Xena other day I turned instruments on, all off ?
Yesterday looking for positive current which I found, but now looks like sailing out off. Should be more closer in to Vietnam coast I think.
    Rest all Ok.
    Cheers for now, Grant.
